Broadcasts
Send a one-off marketing email to a slice of your subscribed customers, then see how it performed.
Beta
A broadcast is a one-off email you send to a group of your customers — a product launch, a restock, a seasonal offer. Unlike flow emails, which go out automatically when someone scans or submits, a broadcast goes out once, when you hit send.
Find it under Email Campaigns → Broadcasts. The page is titled Email Campaigns and lists every broadcast with its Status, Recipients, Performance (open and click rates), and dates.
Before you start
Broadcasts send from info@ your verified .link sending domain. If you don't have one verified yet, set it up under Settings → Domains first — you can't send until you do.
Create a broadcast
Click New broadcast. The wizard has three steps, and your draft is saved each time you click Save and continue, so you can leave and come back later.
Content. Give it an Internal name (only your team sees this) and a Subject line. Then build the Email body: click Start from a template to copy one of your designs, or Create email to open the email editor. Your broadcast always gets its own copy, so editing it never changes the template.
Audience. Choose who gets it (see below). A live count shows how many recipients match, and Preview sample shows a few of them.
Review & send. Check the Content, Audience, and Sending address checklist and preview the email. When everything is green, click Send to [number] recipients.
Sending is immediate
There's no confirmation step and no scheduling — the broadcast starts sending as soon as you click the send button. Once it's sent, it can't be edited, resent, or cancelled. To test the design, use Send test in the email editor first.
Choose your audience
With no filters, a broadcast goes to All subscribed customers. Add filters to narrow it down — a customer has to match every filter you set.
- Behaviour — Clicked a review link or Clicked a discount link.
- Source — a Product, Campaign, Flow, or Purchase channel the customer came through.
- Engagement — Minimum visits, number of Orders, or Lifetime spend.
- Vault prize — target people by their progress on a prize: Prize status (Has won it or Not yet won), Pieces collected, Pieces still needed, or Times unlocked. This only appears if you have prizes set up.
Swapt always leaves out customers who have unsubscribed, and any address that has bounced or marked your email as spam. If the same email address appears twice, it only gets one copy.
See how it did
Click a sent broadcast to open its report. While it's sending, the numbers update as recipients are processed.
- Delivery — Sent, Delivered, Opened, and Clicked, each with its percentage of sent.
- Drop-off — how many bounced, unsubscribed, or were skipped.
- Recipients — every recipient with their status and when they opened or clicked.
- Content sent — a copy of exactly what went out.
If a broadcast shows Failed, the report tells you how many recipients it reached before it stopped. Check your sending setup in Settings → Domains, then create a new broadcast to reach the rest.
