Swapt

Key Concepts

The core vocabulary you'll see throughout Swapt — organizations, QR campaigns, flows, promotions, the Library, and more.

Swapt uses a handful of terms consistently across the product. Skim this page once and the rest of the docs will read much faster.

Organization

Your organization (or "org") is your brand's account. Everything you create — campaigns, flows, pages, customers — belongs to it. Organizations are multi-user: you can invite teammates as an Account Owner, Admin, Member, or Viewer. See Team & settings.

QR campaign

A QR campaign is the main unit you work in. It brings together a QR design, the products it's for, and the flow that runs when someone scans. You find them under Rewards Hub → QR Campaigns, and you measure results at the campaign level. See QR campaigns.

A link (or QR code) is a single, trackable scan target. It can be one-time-use — expiring after it's redeemed to prevent fraud and duplication — or multi-use. See QR codes & links.

Flow

A flow is the visual automation that runs when a code is scanned. You build it as a set of connected steps (nodes) on a canvas. A flow can branch on conditions, show pages, capture forms, hand out rewards, send emails, and send data to your other tools. See Flow Builder.

Node

A node is a single step inside a flow — for example a page, a conditional branch, a reward, or an integration action. See Node reference.

Page & form

A page is a landing page built in the drag-and-drop page editor and shown by a flow. A form is a data-capture block on a page; each form submission creates or updates a customer. See Forms.

Promotion

A promotion is a reward you give customers — for example a single-use discount code or a prize. Promotions are managed in one place under Rewards Hub → Promotions, and a flow hands them out. See Promotions.

Vault

The Vault is your customer-facing rewards hub — the page customers unlock by scanning a QR code. Customers sign in with a magic link and find the rewards they've claimed. See Vault.

Wallet pass

A wallet pass is an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet card a customer adds to their phone — like a warranty card or a reorder reminder. It's separate from the web Vault. See Wallet passes.

Broadcast

A broadcast is a one-off marketing email you send to a slice of your subscribed customers — a launch, a restock, a seasonal offer. Unlike flow emails, which go out automatically after a scan or submission, a broadcast goes out once, when you hit send. Broadcasts live under Email Campaigns → Broadcasts. See Broadcasts.

Library

The Library is where your brand's reusable assets live. It has two tabs: Brand, which holds your brand kit, and Media, a shared library of images and files you can use across Swapt. See Library.

Brand kit

Your brand kit holds your logos, brand colors, fonts, and brand voice. It lives on the Brand tab of the Library and is applied across the page, email, and QR editors so everything stays on-brand. You can also build it during onboarding by pasting your store's web address and letting Swapt pull your brand in automatically.

Storefront

A storefront is a connected product catalog — an Amazon store or a Shopify store. Swapt imports your products so you can attach them to campaigns, enrich them, and track how they perform. Storefronts live under Storefronts → My Products. See Storefronts.

Customer

A customer is a person who has submitted one of your forms. Swapt keeps one record per person and fills it in over time. You'll find everyone under Audience → Customers. See Customers.

Order

An order is a record created by a form submission (for example, a customer registering a purchase) or by buying printed QR stickers or inserts. Preview test-runs are kept out of your reports so your numbers stay accurate.
